A religion of peace?

Oftentimes in life, we encounter vague areas where we may be ill-equipped to navigate gray areas. I believe that this is particularly true for many of us regarding how we attempt to define whether or not a religious/spiritual belief is what it says it is. We hear media these days talking down evangelical Christianity and talking up other religions (like Islam). More often than not secular society embrace neo-liberal "theology" that reject religion altogether, and promotes the self, intellectualism, etc. All of that seems rational until someone has a power encounter with Yeshua Ha Mashiach, Jesus the Messiah. I did, and apparently this girl did, too.

In America, sometimes we revel too much in our drama; social networking sites are evidence enough of that. Do we ever really have to take hold of something that costs us, and may cost us dearly? Would we ever have the guts to take a stand on something that may even deprive us of our life, much less our freedom?
